What is eSIM?

eSIM, short for "Embedded SIM", marks the advancement from the traditional SIM card.

In this evolution, the SIM chip is integrated directly into the device, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card to switch mobile operators.

To connect, one simply specifies the provider's settings. While conventional connectivity required locating a local provider for reliable internet access in a new country, eSIM technology has streamlined this process significantly.

How to Set It Up:

  1. In your Megacall personal account, navigate to Services - eSIM.

  2. Initially, confirm that your device supports eSIM. Then, select the country or region where you'll require internet access, such as Asia or Latin America.

  3. Choose the eSIM duration corresponding to the length of your trip and the desired amount of data. Click "Connect Package" and "eSIM installation."

  4. Open your device's camera and scan the provided QR code.

  5. An eSIM activation window will appear on your device. Follow the prompts, pressing "Continue" on each subsequent screen.

  6. With these steps completed, your setup is finished, and you're ready for your journey!
