In this short guide we are going to look at how we can change the transport and codec options on Apple IOS.
First of all we need to open the application and then press on the settings icon in the bottom right hand corner....
Next we need to press on the "Account" option on the menu, this would be the first option...
You should now see the option "Transport" which is the 4th option down. You will need to press on this and then select "UDP". You will then need to click on "Save" to save the settings.
Now we are going to go back to the main settings menu, you can go back by pressing on the "Settings" text at the top left corner of the screen. We now need to enter the "Codecs" menu...
When you enter this section you will see that all the codecs are turned on by default....
We are going to turn off all of the codecs except for G729, PCMU and PMCA
The only thing left to do is to close the mobile apply completely and re-open it.
