Megacall SIP Trunk Template for 3CX (v20)

In this guide, we will show you how to import a SIP Trunk Template that includes all the necessary headers.

If you are using 3CX version 20 or later, navigate to the Admin panel, select the Advanced tab, and then open the Templates tab.

Now select the tab "Provider Template": 

Choose "GenericSIP Trunk.pv.xml" from the dropdown menu, located near the end of the list.

Click on the "Import Provider" button: 

Download the Attached XML file that you will find at the end of this  and select it to import into 3CX: 

When you reach this point, 3CX will open the configuration for a new SIP Trunk automatically. All you need to do is enter the SIP Trunk Name (e.g., "Megacall") and the Main Trunk Number (a virtual number you may have with Megacall. If you don't have one yet, please use a number that you own, which will be used as the default number for your outbound calls).

If you have more virtual numbers with Megacall, you may add them under the tab DID Numbers

Once you have fill out the SIP Trunk form and added all your Virtual numbers, press the bottom "Save" on the top of the page to apply the changes. 

Now you are ready to apply the Outgoing Rules based on your preferences. 

When sending out your calls through Megacall's gateway you must always send the number with the International (E.164) format both the Origin (CLI) and the Destination (CLD). 

That is, "Country code" + "destination number":
