In this tutorial we are going to look at how we can add Quickdial contacts on the Megacall Softphone App.

First of all we need to open up the Megacall softphone, and then press on the option "Quickdial" at the bottom left corner...

Next we need to click on the "+" symbol in the bottom right corner...

We will now see a screen where we can introduce the Title and phone number. The title would be the name that we want to show. The phone number could be the complete extension number, for example 0318*041

We also see the option "Busy Lamp Field", if this is selected it will show us the state of that particular quickdial.

In the screenshot below we can see that it shows us the state of the extension, it tells us that it is available as it shows "OFF CALL

In the below screenshot we can see that the extension is "Ringing"....

And in this next screenshot we can see that the user is "On Call", this means that the user is occupied, this is useful if we need to see if a colleague is on a call

In the below screenshot we can see that we also have the option to activate the "Do Not Disturb", this simply means that the notifications and sound notifications will not appear on the phone when it is in standby mode, when you re-open the app you will see these calls appear as missed calls.
