Configure WhatsApp Business with Megacall

If you have just received confirmation of your new virtual number and want to link said number with WhatsApp Business, you must do the following:

Important:

It is only possible to configure one virtual number on each device, if you have several virtual numbers you will need to install the WhatsApp Business app on multiple devices.

Requirements:

The first thing will be to make sure that your Virtual number obtained from Megacall can receive calls on a device you have on hand.

If you currently do not have the device on hand or do not have your virtual number configured to receive calls, you must contact our Technical Support team by sending an email to support@megacall.es to forward incoming calls from your virtual number to a number telephone number that you have at hand at that moment (a mobile phone or landline for example).

Please tell us which number we can redirect you to so you can receive your WhatsApp Business activation code.

Once you receive confirmation that your number has been redirected, you will be ready to configure your WhatsApp Business.

Facility:

To start with the configuration, the first thing you must do is download the WhatsApp Business app from the App Store or Google Play. The logo of said application will look like this:

Once installed, you must open the app and accept the terms and conditions of the service.

Once accepted, you will see a screen that will ask you if you want to use the number "+xx xxx xx xx xx" for WhatsApp Business (by default it will normally indicate your mobile number). Here you will mark "Use a different number"

The next step will be to enter the number that you would like to use with WhatsApp Business, this number will be the one that we have provided you.

Once this process is done, they will ask you for confirmation that the number is correct. Just select "Yes".

The next screen tells you that your number is being verified. This process can take between 10-15 seconds.

The first thing you will see is a screen indicating that an SMS with a code has been sent. This option is not valid with Megacall. 

You will need to pay attention to the counter that says "call me at..." since verification will be done through a phone call.

Once the counter resets to zero, press the "Call me now" button and you will receive a call from an international number.

Answer said call as it will indicate a 6-digit number that you will have to enter in said verification code as shown below.

Once you have entered the code, WhatsApp Business will verify that the number belongs to you and after that it will verify that the code is correct.

Once verified, a screen will appear to enter the data of your company that will be shown to your customers.

Press the "Next" button. to continue.

Then you will have to configure and activate notifications.

Once finished, the last screen will be the main one of WhatsApp Business, it has the same design as WhatsApp, and you can configure it to your preference.
