If you have just received confirmation of your new virtual number and you want to link that number with WhatsApp Business, you must do the following:
The first thing will be to make sure that our Technical Support team has been informed that you want to activate this function, for this you must send an email to support@megacall.es in order to redirect your virtual number to an existing number of yours. Please tell us which number we can redirect it to so that you can receive your WhatsApp Business activation code.
Once you receive confirmation that your number has been redirected, you are ready to set up your WhatsApp Business.
To start with the configuration, the first thing you should do is download the WhatsApp Business app from the App Store or Google Play. The logo of said application will look like below:
Once installed, you must open the app and accept the terms and conditions of the service.
Once accepted, you will see a screen that will ask you if you want to use the number "+xx xxx xx xx xx" for WhatsApp Business (by default it will normally indicate your mobile number). Here you will mark "Use a different number"
The next step will be to enter the number that you would like to use with WhatsApp Business, this number will be the one that we have provided you.
Once this process is done, they will ask you for confirmation that the number is correct. Just select "Yes".
The next screen tells you that your number is being verified. This process can take between 10-15 seconds.
The first thing you will see is a screen indicating that an SMS with a code has been sent. This option is not valid with Megacall. You will need to pay attention to the counter that says "call me at..." since verification will be done through a phone call.
Once the counter resets to zero, press the "call me now" button and you will receive a call from an international number.
Answer said call as it will indicate a 6-digit number that you will have to enter in said verification code as shown below.
Once you have entered the code, WhatsApp Business will verify that the number belongs to you and after that it will verify that the code is correct.
Once verified, a screen will appear to enter the data of your company that will be shown to your customers.
Press the "Next" button. to continue.
Then you will have to configure and activate notifications.
Once finished, the last screen will be the main one of WhatsApp Business, it has the same design as WhatsApp, and you can configure it to your preference.
